ArmorHeat Fabric Expansion Joint

MAXWOR ArmorHeat Fabric Expansion Joint solutions are armored fabric expansion joint systems developed for process gas and flue systems exposed to a combination of high temperatures, mechanical wear, and harsh environmental conditions.

Thanks to their multi-layered, reinforced structure, they absorb thermal expansion, vibrations, and mechanical movements while providing superior protection against external environmental factors.

The ArmorHeat series—preferred particularly for heavy industrial applications involving dust, particulates, mechanical impact, and high temperatures—offers a long service life and high durability.

They are reliably used in cement plants, power plants, metallurgical applications, and heavy-duty process gas lines.

Technical Specifications

Design and Operating Principle

ArmorHeat Fabric Expansion Joint designs are optimized using a multilayer high-temperature resistant fabric structure combined with mechanical protective layers.

The compensator structure absorbs thermal expansion, vibrations, and duct movements caused by process gases, while the outer protective layers provide additional protection against abrasion, particulate impact, and environmental stress.

Systems can be manufactured in circular or rectangular cross-sections and can be adapted to different duct geometries using flanged or frame-type mounting options.

Thanks to its high flexibility and low reaction force, it contributes to reducing mechanical loads on duct and equipment systems.

Performance Advantages

  • Provides superior resistance to high temperatures and mechanical stress
  • Offers protection against dust, particulates, and external environmental conditions
  • Absorbs thermal expansion and vibrations
  • Suitable for heavy industrial applications
  • Reduces equipment loads due to low reaction force
  • Ensures long service life
  • Helps extend maintenance intervals
  • Delivers reliable performance under harsh process conditions
