Separators

Separators are critical piping components used in heating, cooling, and industrial process systems to remove air, gas, sludge, and solid particles from the circulating fluid.

Air bubbles and sediments formed within the system can lead to corrosion, flow imbalance, pump failures, and heat transfer losses. Therefore, the use of separators is of great importance in terms of system efficiency and operational safety.

Technical Specifications

Separator systems remove micro air bubbles and particles from the fluid by means of specially designed internal geometries, discharging them from the system. Thanks to micro air separation elements, turbulence-controlled flow, and low-velocity zones, air bubbles are directed դեպի the surface, while sediments and particles settle in the lower chamber for discharge.

In hydraulic separator vessels and packaged systems, primary–secondary circuit separation is achieved to ensure flow rate and pressure balance. In combined separator solutions, air separation, dirt separation, and hydraulic balancing functions are integrated into a single body.

These systems provide the following advantages:

  • Extended pump and equipment lifespan
  • Controlled pressure loss
  • Increased heat transfer efficiency
  • Reduced noise and cavitation risk
  • Improved system stability
