Hygienic Centrifugal Pumps

MAXWOR hygienic centrifugal pumps are centrifugal pump systems designed to meet high hygiene standards in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and biotechnology processes.

With its smooth internal surface structure, dead-zone-free design, and CIP/SIP compatibility, it preserves product safety while increasing process efficiency. It provides an ideal solution for the hygienic transfer of low-viscosity fluids at high flow rates.

Thanks to its easy-to-clean design and compliance with hygiene standards, it delivers reliable performance in sterile process applications.

Technical Specifications

Operating Principle

Hygienic centrifugal pumps operate based on the standard centrifugal principle.

The stainless steel impeller, driven by a motor, imparts kinetic energy to the fluid. As the fluid moves from the center toward the outer diameter, velocity energy is converted into pressure energy within the volute casing, ensuring continuous flow.

Thanks to the hygienic design:

  • Dead zones are prevented
  • Surfaces are easy to clean
  • Sealing elements comply with hygiene standards
  • Full compatibility with CIP/SIP systems is ensured
