Operating Principle
Mono pumps consist of:
- single helical rotor
- elastomer stator
- mechanical seal or packing system
When the rotor rotates eccentrically, sealed cavities are formed between the rotor and stator. These cavities continuously and steadily transport the fluid from the inlet to the outlet.
With this system:
- constant flow rate
- low pulsation
- low shear stress
- transfer of fibrous and particulate products
- foam minimization
are achieved.
