Mono Pumps

MAXWOR mono pumps, also known as progressive cavity pumps, are positive displacement pump systems that operate based on the eccentric rotation of a single helical rotor within an elastomer stator.

Thanks to the enclosed volumes formed between the rotor and stator, the fluid is conveyed steadily and continuously within the pump. This operating principle enables the controlled, low-pulsation transfer of high-viscosity, particulate-laden, fibrous, and shear-sensitive fluids.

It offers a reliable, long-lasting solution, particularly for challenging fluid applications where centrifugal pumps fall short.

Technical Specifications

Operating Principle

Mono pumps consist of:

  • single helical rotor
  • elastomer stator
  • mechanical seal or packing system

When the rotor rotates eccentrically, sealed cavities are formed between the rotor and stator. These cavities continuously and steadily transport the fluid from the inlet to the outlet.

With this system:

  • constant flow rate
  • low pulsation
  • low shear stress
  • transfer of fibrous and particulate products
  • foam minimization

are achieved.
