Gear Pumps

MAXWOR Gear Pumps are industrial pump systems that operate based on the positive displacement principle and provide a constant volumetric flow rate. They are especially preferred for the controlled and low-pulsation transfer of high-viscosity fluids.

With internal gear (eccentric) and external gear design options, they provide solutions suitable for different process requirements. Working Principle

Internal gear pumps consist of a rotor (external gear), an internal gear (ring gear), and a separator (crescent) element.

As the rotor rotates eccentrically within the internal gear, a volume is created in the separation zone of the gears, and the fluid is drawn in. The fluid is carried within the gear cavities and transferred to the discharge line.

Helical & Spur Gear Pumps (External Gear Pumps)

Working Principle

Helical and spur gear pumps operate based on the rotation of two external gears that mesh with each other inside the pump casing.

The gear driven by the motor transmits motion to the other gear. At the separation point of the gears, a volume is created, allowing the fluid to be drawn in and transported within the gear cavities to the discharge line.

Helical gear profile:

while spur gear models are preferred for economical and standard applications.
