Operating Principle
Thermoplastic acid pumps operate based on the centrifugal principle.
The impeller, connected to the motor shaft, imparts kinetic energy to the fluid, and this energy is converted into pressure energy inside the pump casing, enabling the liquid to be delivered to the discharge line.
In magnetic drive models:
- there is no shaft seal
- sealing is provided by magnetic torque
- leakage risk is reduced to a minimum
This structure provides significant safety advantages, especially for the transfer of hazardous, aggressive, and volatile chemicals.
