Design and Operating Principle
ChemGuard Fabric Expansion Joint designs are optimized using a multilayer fabric structure together with a high chemical-resistance inner layer.
The PTFE-coated inner sealing layer provides strong resistance against acidic and alkaline gases, while the fabric compensator structure absorbs thermal expansion, vibrations, and mechanical movements.
Systems can be manufactured in circular or rectangular cross-sections and can be adapted to different duct and process designs using flanged or frame-type connection options.
Thanks to its low-stiffness structure, it minimizes mechanical loads on equipment and duct systems.
