Double Sphere Rubber Expansion Joint

MAXWOR double sphere rubber expansion joint solutions are flexible elastomer-based compensator systems featuring a double-bellows (double sphere) design, offering high movement capacity.

Compared to single sphere models, this design provides greater axial, lateral, and angular movement absorption. It is used to effectively damp thermal expansion, vibration, and mechanical loads in piping systems.

Its flexible structure reduces stress at pump, fan, and equipment connections while also helping to lower vibration and noise levels. It provides a reliable and cost-effective solution for HVAC systems, process lines, and water installations.

Technical Specifications

Design and Operating Principle

Double sphere rubber expansion joint designs are optimized with a double-bellows elastomer body structure to provide high flexibility and a wide range of movement capacity.

The double-sphere configuration absorbs axial, lateral, and angular movements while also reducing the transmission of vibration and mechanical shock to the piping system. This helps minimize stress on pump, valve, and equipment connections.

Flanged connections provide easy installation, while the high movement capability also helps accommodate installation tolerances.
