Technical Specifications
Design and Operating Principle
In externally pressurized expansion joints, the metal bellows structure is designed so that internal pressure provides external support to the bellows. This special construction minimizes bellows instability and buckling risks under high pressure.
The system is optimized to safely absorb large axial movements. Single-bellows or double-bellows design options allow solutions tailored to different movement and pressure requirements.
Manufactured with flanged or weld neck connections, these expansion joints are engineered for use in guided or anchored piping systems.
Performance Advantages
- Ensures safe operation under high pressure
- Provides large axial movement capacity
- Minimizes bellows buckling risk
- Reliable solution for long pipeline systems
- Suitable for high-temperature applications
- Long service life
- High reliability in critical process applications
- Ideal solution for energy and process facilities
Operating Values
Operating Pressure
- Maximum 100 bar
