Design and Operating Principle
Groove type bellows expansion joints absorb axial, lateral, and angular movements in pipeline systems through a stainless steel metal bellows structure. The bellows are optimized to dampen thermal expansion, vibration, and mechanical loads in a controlled manner.
Grooved end connections enable fast and easy installation. The elimination of flanged or welded joints provides significant advantages, especially during maintenance and system modification processes.
Thanks to its compact structure and low weight, it contributes to flexible system design in mechanical installations.
Performance Advantages
- Fast and easy installation
- Flange- and weld-free connection system
- Reduces vibration and noise levels
- Absorbs thermal stresses
- Simplifies maintenance and dismantling
- Saves space and weight
- Suitable for flexible system design
- Compact and durable structure
Operating Values
Operating Pressure
- Maximum 25 bar
- (depending on DN size, coupling type, and design)
Operating Temperature
- -20°C / +350°C
- (depending on bellows and coupling material)
Movement Capabilities
- Axial Movement: ±10 mm – 40 mm
- Lateral Movement: ±10 mm – 50 mm
