Design and Operating Principle
Rubber expansion joint with tie rod designs are optimized with an elastomer body working together with tie rods to provide controlled movement absorption.
The tie rod system limits axial forces generated by internal pressure while allowing controlled lateral and angular movements. This reduces mechanical loads on the piping system and protects equipment connections.
